We have dined here periodically and food is okay, typical. We attempted to dine in the bar area on a Thursday later evening with our infant. As we walked into the restaurant, a lovely well to do couple was leaving with their service dog and the stroller the dog rests in. We were dressed very casually but requested to sit in the bar area since it 's more casual and baby is unlikely to disturb anyone on that side. We were immediately denied by the young hostess in a snooty way, on the basis that babies are not allowed at the bar. We had a fantastic dining experience at Lu Nello Restaurant tonight. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. The Italian food was nothing short of amazing—each dish was crafted with precision and full of authentic flavors that truly transported us to Italy. This is one of the best, if not the best restaurant in New Jersey. The freshness, flavor, creativity of the food all served with kindness and love is top shelf. Chef and owner Louis Seger keeps reinventing the experience always keeping it current while staying true to its roots. Well done!

We were here once. The steak was terrible. It had to be sent back, which we never do. The calamari was average at best for the ridiculous price. I had to ask for espresso beans for my espresso martini. The staff was nice, but this is definitely not the quality we were hoping for. Réservez une table maintenant

The food is world-class. Calamari, garlic shrimp, endive salad were all 10/10. Bronzino, salmon, and duck were 10/10. Desserts are incredible. It is pricey with $40 entres, but for special occasions, this place deserves every dollar.

The place is beautiful inside. Feels like you’re in a new country club. The food was good but not particularly amazing for the prices. Very nice plate presentation. Found myself having to constantly call my waiter over.

Clearly a birthday celebration restaurant, and for good reason. Great bar (Old Forester bourbon) and food (Tuna Tartare, soft-shell crabs menuiere, pistachio gelato). Lovely decoration and ambience, too.
