After visiting Lucia and getting drinks I was honestly not pleased with the service. First off when entering into the bar the staff just disregarded that we got there. As we walked over to the bar to try and sit outside the bartender was unpleasantly agitated. She gave a nasty attitude when asked if the kitchen was still open which is why I decided not to order anything just to get drinks. There was a good amount of customers at tables and it was only 9:45 at night. Clearly the attitude and energy from the staff is not what a customer should experience when entering a place of busines.
Have tried them a few times. Recently called and was told they weren't taking orders to go after having beenalve to place orders to go in the past. Tried calling tonight and the woman that answered said she couldn't hear anyone talking and hung up. I tried to call back and it went to voicemail 2x. Felt like they were intentionally not picking up the phone after. Won't return. Gave them another try. $18 for a 10 inch pizza that is paper thin. Called and was told they are not a pizza place. So clearly if you want pizza DO NOT GO HERE.
Went on a very lively (loud) Saturday night. We had a great dinner of soft shell crab, salmon, potatoes, and a vegetable. Appetizers consisted of octopus and carpaccio. The food was fresh and delicious. The crab, salmon, and octopus were cooked to perfection. The salads were crisp, and the dressing tasted home made. I suggest going on a less crowded night as the volume in there was so loud my wife and I couldn't hold a conversation.
Restored my faith in quality food and service. Perfect service, perfectly paced and accommodating. This is how dining should be. The mussel appetizer was probably the best mussels I've ever had. No grit, succulent and perfectly cooked. Other restaurants locally can't compare... Oh and the cocktails were fantastic. The chili Manhattan was the perfect way to pep our appetite. We celebrated our son 's 30th birthday tonight. Everything was superb! The special appetizer eggroll pastrami in honor of St. Patrick was delicious! The mustard stepped it up a few notches. The pistachio tartufo was awesome! Bathroom area needs better lighting...I almost walked into the wrong one.
