"Absolutely delicious, had the benifer, the eggs Benedict both meat and vegetarian (suggested but not on menu), also was offered potatoes and jalapeno grits. I was pleased that waitress left me have a little of both so I could try both. Great coffee, cute place, can’t wait to go back!"

I've eaten at Lucile's in Longmont a few times and always good. However, on Monday I met with friends to have lunch. It was National Oysters Rockefeller Day so that was the special. I asked how many oysters and was told 6. I ordered scrambled eggs instead of poached. What I got was unbelievable. There were 6 tiny oysters no bigger than than my little finger. They were fried but soggy. The potatoes were just burnt pieces with two edible pieces. I should have taken a picture but I was with friends. However, I found this picture that someone posted of their Oysters Rockefeller. Notice 6 normal oysters? This is not what I got. Anyway the Cuban Orange Juice was good, the Beignets hot, and the muffin big!

Amazing lunch with my sister in law! I’m from Iowa, love trying new places to eat! I was not disappointed, had the eggs Benedict the best ever! And had there amazing spiced tea! My sister in law had the special for the day, Crawfish pasta and she was in love with her meal! Service was outstanding! We were able to bring home some the products that they serve at the restaurant! My Sister In Law bought the biscuit starter, creole seasoning ! I brought home the spiced tea and two bottles of the creole seasoning! The tea was just as it tasted in the restaurant!

Love Lucile’s in Longmont! It is a fun home style atmosphere with a Cajun flare, nearly all of their sauces are homemade and the jams are delicious on home baked biscuits. I always get the eggs Sardou which comes with delicious creamed spinach- even the half order is a ton of food and comes with potatoes or grits and the biscuit! My husband likes the Carlin county (biscuit and gravy, “white” with sausage and seasoning to make it their own), which he loves!

Longmont is not New Orleans but this place sure has a great New Orleans flare! We ordered the shrimp po-boy, shrimp and grits as well as the red beans and rice. All were excellent! Two of the dishes were served with a huge biscuit and we even had the beignets. All of these were amazing! As we were leaving, we saw an off the menu item…farmer’s eggs. We will be back to try that for sure!
