Lucky Cantonese - Réservation de table

So I've eaten here a few times and always enjoyed the food (I'm your basic sweet and sour pork type of person) but the real test was bringing my parents. Dad isn't far off 100 years old and is Chinese so has eaten a fair few meals in his time and he's quite particular about his food so when he gives a 10/10 you know it's serious. He loved the steamed pigs knuckle devouring most of it himself and the king scallops were very tasty. The menu is very varied with authentic Chinese food tasting the way it should taste. The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious! The menu offers a wide variety of dishes from different regions, perfect for adventurous eaters. They also have more familiar options like sweet and sour, black bean, and satay. The service was excellent, with thoughtful and considerate staff. Although we both ordered vegetarian dishes, the portion sizes were generous and reasonably priced. For two people with a starter, main course, and a glass of wine each, the bill came to around £30. We would definitely return to this restaurant. Just keep in mind that they only accept cash, but there is a free cash point nearby.

We have ordered home delivery, after 1:45 minutes food arrived my boyfriend beef was alright and my Tom Yum soup which I ask to be just vegetable it came with prawns. Well basically it was water with some tomato and prawns not even cooked just water prawns and tomatoes. For main I have ordered chow man with tofu and vegetables. I got whole packed of noodles cooked with 2 bits broccoli 2 small bits of tofu and no sauce. Plain noodles we 20£ for noodles pack and some water with floating tomato bits and prawns. Please go by by from here as this where world is go wrong!!!

I tried Lucky when my normal Chinese takeaway was closed and was very pleased with what i received. The menu it in both English and Chinese and so you will get some dishes that are not normally seen. we had already decided to go with our normal order and the food was more spicy hotter when delivered and punctual. It was a little more expensive but worth the extra and i will use it again. Réservez une table maintenant

We dined at Lucky Restaurant on a Sunday evening. It is situated near the University of Nottingham in Beeston. Upon arrival, the restaurant was about a third full, but by the time we finished our meal, it was almost at full capacity. The food at Lucky Restaurant is truly authentic and of great quality, as evidenced by the large number of Asian customers and regular diners.

After ordering the chicken Szechuan and beef noodle dishes, I was disappointed to find that the beef dish only had one small strip of beef. The pasta was so bad that I can't even find the right words to describe it. On top of that, we had to wait for an hour and a half.

Beautiful food had the duck which was amazing, would have liked abit more kick to beef in black pepper but overall service and food good will go again.

Very basic restaurant. Nothing classy about it but the food was first class. Best Chinese we have had. Reasonably priced, will go back Réservez une table maintenant

I think I've said it all in the title. Food is great and reasonably priced. Lemon chicken is a must try. Delivery always quick too.
