Das Restaurant wird von sehr netten Leuten geführt. Auf Nachfragen wird entsprechend freundlich geantwortet, zum Teil wird dann sponatn etwas aus der Küche zum Probieren gereicht. Das Essen ist natürlich anders, mit den Fingern. Es liegt auf einem Fladenbrot oder etwas sehr ähnlichem. Das kann man dann abreißen und damit Fleischstücken, Soßen, Käse und anders einrollen und tunken. Exotisch, aber schmackhaft, wobei das Brot bzw. der Fladen sehr sättigend ist. Für meinen Geschmack hätte es schon etwas mehr Fleisch Lamm, Rindfleisch) in der Gesamtmischung sein dürfen. Die Vorspeise, Salat mit Joghurtsoße, war auch sehr lecker. Das Ambiente ist nicht so doll, kleines Lokal ohne besondere Einrich...
our first visit to an Ethiopian restaurant will certainly not remain the last after this taste experience. in the typical restaurant with friendly service you feel right away. we were also delighted with the food. the typical starter and also the main course were tastefully unique and just good! we will definitely visit the lucy abyssinia at our next visit in düsseldorf.
we had no expectations before entering, but eating was absolutely fantastic. we have already enjoyed Ethiopian cuisine in new york and london and this place is easy and asserts itself. the doro wot was spicy and tasty. the vegetarian foods were plentiful and tasty. the service was very friendly. overall this place is highly recommended and I am sure we will come back.
eating is really good, for that the service is unfortunately really bad. we have waited 20 minutes on the bar for a table without getting the card offered or taking the beverage order. for eating we waited a total of 1.5 hours.
