Upon arrival, we were not greeted or welcomed, and we had to approach the host ourselves to request a table for two, which he then seated us at the back of the restaurant. The water glasses on our table were covered in hard water stains, and when we tried to swap them with those from the adjacent table, we found the same issue, making them unappealing to use. The food is outstanding, with the lamb chops being truly exceptional. However, the atmosphere is quite noisy, making it hard to have a conversation during dinner or fully enjoy the experience. The dining room’s acoustics need improvement, as the high noise level creates a stressful and distracting environment. Additionally, the service from the staff was somewhat slow.
This review is for those who, like me, are lactose intolerant. I had dinner at Lugano and also ordered through Postmates, and each time I requested a dairy-free version of the pasta dishes, they were incredibly accommodating and delivered delicious dairy-free meals. Other restaurants could learn from their example. By the way, the food is fantastic!
I had an excellent experience at Lugano Salumeria Wine with a large work group. The waitstaff were attentive, the menu offered delicious options, and the prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food. I will definitely be returning!

Lugano Salumeria Wine offers a fantastic happy hour every day from 3 to 6 pm. The wine and food selections during happy hour are excellent. Bartenders Sasha and Tim are amazing and welcoming—we visit so often they’ve gotten to know us well.
