This restaurant offers authentic Dominican cuisine, straight from a Dominican! I’ve never been disappointed here; their prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are quite generous. If you visit, make sure to try their lemonade—it's absolutely delicious! It’s $4 for a cup, but definitely worth it. I appreciate that they have a set menu, but you can also enjoy local dishes. There's a wide variety of food to choose from, including Sancocho. This is my go-to place when I don’t feel like cooking!
I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant on Sunday, and I was able to try the goat stew. It was fantastic, and I highly recommend it. I also ordered the manduros and stuffed yuca, and everything was amazing. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful, especially to those who may not be familiar with the cuisine; they take their time to explain the dishes. This is definitely a place worth visiting!
I was torn between giving this place a 3 or a 4, so I'll settle on a 3.5. The food comes out quickly and the portions are satisfying. The chicken curry stew looked spicy, but it didn't have much heat. The black bean dish, however, was quite good. My friend tried the chicken spaghetti and really enjoyed it. The prices are reasonable—definitely not too expensive! Overall, it was a decent dining experience.
The dining experience was excellent, and the manager/owner went above and beyond to address an issue we encountered. With delicious food and outstanding customer service, what else could you possibly want?
