We were traveling up I-5 and decided to stop for food in Stockton. Android Auto/Google maps showed Lumberjacks Restaurant right off the freeway so we stopped. Easy to find and plenty of parking. We were shown to a table and given menus. Another couplecome in right behind us and the same hostess told them that she wouldn't seat them next to us because they turned on the AC andit will be cold. Nothing was said to us. Drink orders was taken and drinks were served. However, I also requested water it wasnever delivered. Terrific food and service! Prior to pandemic this was a regular meeting place for our breakfast group. Huge selection and everyone was also pleased with omelets, sides, coffee, etc. Today I took a friend to lunch and the Sourdough burger (like apatty-melt) was amazing. Fresh fruit bowl was great. Friends had omelets and everyone enjoyed their meals and excellentservice. Order was taken quickly and food arrived quickly.
At Lumberjacks, although my sister's apple pie and the salad that accompanied her Fish and Chips never arrived, the fish and chicken strips were crispy and served hot, and the chocolate pie was delicious. The salad greens were fresh and crunchy. We are deducting one star due to the missing items, not the quality of the food or the menu.
The food came out hot, and the eggs and sausage patties in both breakfasts were delicious. However, the biscuit and gravy dish was a letdown—the biscuit was either too hard or didn’t have enough gravy. The cinnamon roll French toast was flavorful but slightly dry on the outside and could have been a bit sweeter for my taste.

The food at Lumberjacks is always excellent. Occasionally, they forget small items like syrup or jam, but these are usually available in the fridge. The meals are consistently hot and tasty. Honestly, aside from Bj's, this is the only place where the food consistently arrives great.
I recently enjoyed the best breakfast I've had in years at Lumberjacks. My only suggestion would be to add a touch of spice, like nutmeg or cinnamon, to the French toast. It was a bit disappointing that there were no condiments available for the potatoes or eggs.
Great service, delicious food. Awesome menu. Huge portions of comfort food. Breakfast is served all day. Not too busy. This place is perfect for breakfast or brunch.
Food was Amazing and service was Great too. I will be going back for breakfast to try it out. We had dinner there and portions were very generous and very tasty.

The sandwich is tasty and loaded with plenty of turkey breast. My favorite side is the sweet potato fries, which are perfectly seasoned.
The taco salads texture (namely the shell) was amazing. Great portions. Bang for your buck. Many options to choose from
