I can't say enough good things about this place. Went with my parents and child after we were stranded by a road closure. Don't be fooled by the classroom chairs. The diner-style food was prepared fresh, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of options, and the fish in the platters is fresh! Don't get me started on the pies! Two in-house pies that are worth the trip alone! It was a surprising discovery, and we'll worth visiting if you're in that part of the province.
This is the first sit down restaurant meal I had in almost a year! I chose a fish and clams combo plate. There was tonnes of food! I didn't make it through the fries. Everything was good. The clams were crispy but still tender, the fish was flaky and filling. The service was pleasant and fast and the place was full, but at reduced capacity. Will go again.
Incredible seafood. Five of us, Senior ladies, experienced a very tasty late lunch at this very ordinary looking cafe. Best haddock ever, mouthwatering clams and decent scallops. The little waitress was working all alone but did her best to serve the 4 or 5 other parties that arrived around the same time. We were very pleased.
Had double bacon cheeseburgers and pizza for supper tonight. Absolutely amazing! Some of the best pizza I have ever had and they never disappoint with burgers. Prices are very reasonable and staff are wonderful. Had a terrible day and they completely turned it around.
