My girlfriend and I went to the Palisades and, per our tradition, wanted some ice cream afterwards! She said the ice cream sandwich was the best she has ever had, and the pistachio ice cream was delicious. We've checked out ice cream places marketing themselves as homemade, but this was the first to have a unique taste, consistency, and discernable homemade quality. Great ice cream and customer service. Do recommend and will be back! ?
What a charming little spot! The two ladies working there were very friendly. They offered a wide variety of popsicle flavors. I chose the Fresca con crema, which is similar to a parfait, but instead of yogurt, it has a smooth, sweet cream. It was tasty, but my husband opted for the Ferrero Rocher flavor, and it was absolutely incredible! I only wish we lived closer so we could sample all the different flavors!
If you're not Mexican, this may not be the ideal spot for a cold treat. The staff member made me feel out of place, as if I didn't belong because my partner and I are white. The ice cream also didn't live up to expectations, and the customer service was quite disappointing!
Small mom and pop style place. The service was friendly and the ice cream was good. They also have some Mexican style frozen sweet treats that are fun to try for something different. Something for the whole family at this ice cream shop. Réservez une table maintenant
