Surprising that I never gave a review on this outstanding restaurant. It has been around for decades and I cannot recall one meal of maybe 50-70 I've had here or taken out over the years that wasn't excellent. It begins with the lovely ambiance and attention you receive on entering the restaurant. My favorite appetizers are the baked clams. The salads are also exceptional. The steaks are terrific as is the pasta and seafood. One of my favorites is the branzino almandine. The desserts and espresso top off a sensational meal. Yes it's not cheap but quality is rarely inexpensive especially in Larchmont.
The prices here are excessively high. While the decor is appealing, the wine list is also marked up significantly. The service is average, and it seems that most staff aren't Italian, with only a few actually familiar with the dishes. Overall, the service is acceptable, but there's little incentive to come back. The pasta portions are small, and the entrees are overpriced. If you're looking for something to do, you might consider dining here, but don't expect anything exciting or worthwhile unless you're interested in paying a premium.
We had a late lunch on Labor Day. We actually wanted to go to another nearby restaurant, but it was closed, so we ended up here. The food was excellent! I read an earlier review that servers were slow and inattentive, and the ladies' room was dirty. Management obviously listened and corrected that. The service was attentive and the ladies room was very clean. Was there for the lunch. Service poor and unprofessional. Glass with wine was very dirty. I asked to change it the second one was very dirty as well. I told manager that we are not going to have a food in a such place (not safe! , he refused to give me his business card and said: “ok, just leave”. No apologies. Unbelievable. So, my family and friends will not come there anymore. High prices, rude service and dirty glasses Food: 1

I didn't visit during peak hours, so I can't comment on the experience during busy times, but I loved the tranquil atmosphere and lovely decor. I had a fresh and delicious veal dish, followed by a delightful chocolate mousse cake for dessert. The service was excellent and quick, and I left feeling very satisfied and content. I will definitely return!

Exceptional! The service, food, and overall experience were fantastic. The fresh salmon was delightful, and the salad was incredibly tasty.

Celebrated a wonderful 90th birthday with my family! We dined in for dinner, and everything was fantastic.
