Lynchburg's Taste Of Philly

This has been a family favorite for many years. We enjoyed it so much, that we frequently recommend others try it out. Yes, it is a little easy to overlook. Yes, the store front doesn 't look like much. But when the food and fellowship is this good, why ask for more. My family took a road trip and passed through Philly. So, we had to stop and try both of the original Philly cheese steaks, from Pat 's Genoe 's. Sorry to say, neither were anything as good and fresh as Taste of Philly.

Update: 12/2021. Still in love with this place! It will forever be on my first stop to bring newcomers to the area. For the food... friendship.. and what is the overall best of our city!! Love, love, love this place! Food is TOP shelf, but the people here are family, so cool. If everyone in philly is this nice, i'm moving there.

Hands down, the best Philly cheese steak in Lynchburg and beyond! The staff was friendly and the food was outstanding! My wife and I have been looking for a cheese steak sandwich that compares with her favorite underload in Maryland, and Taste of Philly did not disappoint. We will definitely be back for more.
