Rude owner and extremely slow service. I am a single parent, just moved to the area and came in here before alone, but today, came in for the first time with my INFANT and 4 Year old to grab breakfast before going to the playground. We came in hungry and then we were seated almost immediately, but after about 25 minutes food had still not arrived. The waitress popped by to say there were still two tickets ahead of ours. I decided to cancel our order and leave. Before leaving, I mentioned it to the owner. Rather than being apologetic told me that I shouldn’t bring my kids in if we need to eat quickly because it’s not “a fast food restaurant” and we shouldn’t get any special priority over anyo...
Food was good but the service is terrible! One of our guests asked for water with a lemon slice. Waitress comes back with our drinks and tells our guest “we are not allowed to put lemon slices in our water” we then asked her for a few lemon slices and we will put the lemon slice in ourselves. Her reply was that the manager would not allow her to do that! At the end of our meal the waitress brings our bill. Their policy is that the customer has to go to the counter to pay the bill. While we were waiting for a member of our family to pay the bill. We came in with our toddler and were sat at a tiny 2-top. Perhaps the man who sat us assumed that we wouldn’t be feeding our child because there was no way three plates could fit on the small table. It was also unsafe to have hot coffee within our daughter’s reach. When the waitress returned with our drink order, we asked if we could move to a four-top after it was cleared. She spoke to the manager (the same man who sat us), who was incredibly rude. He was unreasonable and said no. Lynn's is a gem! Breakfast couldn't have been better and the staff was a dream. It was my first time visiting, but I'll definitely be a regular. Highly recommend the hollandaise sauce and the sausage gravy. The specials all looked incredible, so it was hard to choose what to eat. The vibe is old school diner, with a clean and updated look.
