We love Ma Cameron's. Good food, polite service with a smile. Muzac just as we like it almost inaudible where we sat though we prefer total silence so we can hear the music of our conversation. I find the normal sized fish and chips quite sufficient but my wife dared me to try the large version little did I know there was method in the madness. When it arrived she took half a fish away to supplement her smaller steak sandwich.
Went there with my cousin for a bar supper.Lovely,cosy place.Great atmosphere.Staff were all very pleasant,polite,helpful.Our meals arrived at our table quickly.Absolutely delicious!.Very tasty and a generous plate full.I will be back there very soon.Would highly recommend everyone to visit.They wouldnt be disappointed. Great value for money also.
Almost 50 years since my first visit to Ma Cameron's and while there have been lots of changes to the place in that time it's still a great place to go. Really enjoyed my visit here for a colleague's leaving doo. Excellent beer although we drank them out of Level Head beer. My Steak and Ale pie was excellent. Well done to all at Ma's
My mum and i decided to have a meal here recently, we both opted for the hunters chicken and we weren't disappointed. I can honestly say it was the best hunters chicken i have ever had... it was presented in a separate dish which meant that our chips didn't end up soggy from the sauce. An authentic pub experience. Lovely atmosphere in a building with hundreds of years of history on its back and plenty of hints of Scottishness and miasmas of fresh chips and lager. Lovely food as well. The lentil soup was a delight and the Scotch eggs were perfection. Highly recommended.
Best fish and chips that ive ever had in a pub,was the big one massive two fish that was fresh as if it had been caught that day,great selection off real ales and big screen to watch football with friendly staff was up there with best we have to offer down in Glasgow
Reliable, never eaten there but pals go regularly and enjoy it. Drinks good, prices just right. Nice glasses too. Will make a fine addition to my collection
