I wasn 't expecting much when my partner and I picked this spot for an early dinner. Boy was it a treat. Authentic pub food, best I 've had in the country. I mean it. Proper pour of Guinness accompanied our corned beef with cabbage (properly sided with mustard) and a delicious shepherd 's pie. The wings and fries are amazing too if you 're looking for east coast quality buffalo and the Scottish thunder sauce is not quite Thai spicy but it 's almost there. Plus the wait staff are very well organized and provide great service, even on the outdoor patio seats (which are cute and lovely on a warm day) Will be visiting again.
It was so good for lunch, we went back for dinner! The wait staff is a well oiled machine, with an attentiveness by everyone working. Great draft selection featuring my favorite IPA, Pliney the Elder. And the food:. Best calamari ever, and a huge portion at that. In fact, be extra hungry or plan to share or take leftovers. Very generous amounts of great food and an extensive menu that begs return visits to sample them all. My Bride is still talking about the Drop the Beet salad. We're here in South Lake Tahoe for another week. It's gonna be hard to choose anywhere else.
This place popped up on my recommended spots on Google while I was in Lake Tahoe. It mentioned it was dog friendly so we brought our 2 pups here. We sat in the patio area and they have individual enclosed areas that were awesome. They brought our dogs a water bowl and offered us a few beef patties for them. Their food was spectacular. Their drinks were strong and the food was big portions. We had a few servers checking on us and they were also super friendly. Definitely a place I would come back too.

We have food to go, Calamari, fish and chips and Clam Chowder. The Calamari was excellent. It was in thick strips and came with a delicious tartaric acid sauce. The fish and chips were also good with beautiful pieces of firefish and a generous serving of chips. The Clam Chowder was fine, but the sourdough bread that came with him was delicious. Serving sizes are enough for 2 people!
Reuben is the best with tons of meat so tender! (Plan where, really. Side of the onion rings, the world class (I am a hard judge). Calamari was fantastic. Look forward to a return to Mac Cheese and Shepherdcake. Too full for a return for bread pudding desert. Big beer options. Thank you for a great experience, with our dog.
Best fish n chips, Best Reuben Sandwich ever! LARGE position, loved it so much!! The fish-n-chips are super fresh and the texture is just perfect as you can imagine. The Reuben Sandwich is super delicious, the thick cut soft tasty beef melts in your month. Very recommended!!
