Our third visit. Food is freshly prepared and very very tasty. I had the catch of the day which was fresh salmon with beetroot and caper mash and vegs which did not disappoint.. my husband is a meat eater and had the lamb chops which he recommends to all. Everything is so full of flavour, seasoned perfectly and well presented. For dessert my husband took the crepes filled with fresh strawberries and chantilly cream which again he rated as delicious. The owner/staff are all very friendly and helpful and provide excellent customer service. It is becoming one of our favourite places and we will definitely be back as well as recommending to all our family and friends.
Had a quick stop in Ayr before heading the the boat. We stumbled across this place completely by accident and we weren’t disappointed. Luckily, because we were early, they were able to squeeze us in before a fully booked evening. The service was brilliant friendly and efficient. The food was outstanding; the cauliflower and halibut were especially good and we were impressed with the portion size for small plates. We would have taken a photo but we ate it too quickly. When we’re back in Ayr, we’ll definitely be coming again.
we came for a weekend. hidden over this little jewel. it was Saturday night we had no booking. they got us a table. the customer service was amazing. really friendly and welcoming. we had the specials for starter goat cheese and a pea root shell both amazing. then we had steak with blue cheese sauce. the parts were massive and it was the best steak iw had in a long time. was so good. will definitely return from glassgow, only to dinner.
This is a restaurant for diners who want something out of the ordinary. The menu is small but it is still difficult to choose because of the composition of the dishes. The quality of the food is excellent. My wife and I selected two dishes each which would not normally go together and shared them. It worked here. The staff are pleasantly attentive but not intrusive. The atmosphere is just right, a quiet buzz. We loved it. Réservez une table maintenant
What a fantastic place to eat! I visited with my mum sister for lunch and it was lovely! Everything from start to finish was fresh, tasty and well presented. Staff were very happy, friendly and attentive. We all had 3 courses for £13.95 portions were good sized and we were certainly stuffed afterwards. Great atmosphere, great food, great staff! Will certainly be returning recommendation everyone to try
very satisfied with the service and the gluten-free menu. very satisfied with the care and attention given to us and the great choices for gluten-free. thank you for your help. my sohn was twice in the last year in the hospital, so it is important that he has not gluten. would definitely recommend to anyone who has Coeliac disease and requires a gluten-free menu.
