Machine Laundry Café

Came to visit with family during a recent trip to Hobart. My parents were visiting from Italy and I wanted to let them try an Aussie brunch. We didn’t have an idea of where to eat so decided to check this place out since it had a high rating on Zomato. We weren’t disappointed! Service was friendly and speedy, food portions were huge and the feel of the place was vibrant. Well done Machine Laundry team!

Ordered the parmesan, caramelised onion and spinach pancake and wow! Absolutely blown away, such a well thought out dish. Never had a savoury pancake before but it all worked so well with the chilli jam relish. I would highly recommend this dish and it comes with 3 beautiful stacks to satisfy your hunger.

First stop off the plane from Melbourne Sunday morning. Food was so good. loved the chickpea avocado and my partner had the fat boy roti..the satay sauce on this dish was so yum!! Service was great. Looking forward to coming back and trying more on the menu!

Came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The cafe is cute and cozy. Plenty of seating. The staff were all lovely and inviting. Accomodating to menu changes- I just wanted simple avocado and not salsa which was not an issue. Salmon was delicious. Réservez une table maintenant

Service was quick and so polite and friendly. I ordered Thom’s Thing which came with a huge mound of chickpeas and guacamole, tomato, spinach and halloumi on a thick sourdough toast. I was blown away by the size and it was very enjoyable.

Very tasty food and the place has a nice feel to it. Could be a bit more exciting in terms of interior but either way the food was exceptional. We got two fat boys and hazelnut lattes and didn’t regret. Will come back again!

Went there to have a coffee before going to the work and trust me they service best in kind. Really haven't had that good coffee in a while and they really made my day. Thank you guys and keep spreading your taste.

The menu hasn't changed in the 3+ years I've lived near it but they do good eggs and it's one of my fave spots to sit for Sunday brunch and people watch Réservez une table maintenant

Food is good for Hobart, but hard to impress people come from Melbourne. Waiting staff are very friendly and nice but seem new to the business.

The food at this place was amazing! Just came for a weekend away and stumbled across this in Salamanka Definitely recommended!
