MacKay's Cochrane Ice Cream Ltd

When you think of Cochrane you usually think of McKay's Ice Cream. For good reason! This is some of the best ice cream west of the Atlantic Ocean. Sometimes the line ups are long, but that gives you time to ponder the huge menu. The price is a bit scary but as a treat well, you decide. I had a double "Orange" something and wow!

Went to McKays in a hot summer afternoon. So many people. The ice cream is pretty good. I think people come here for the experience and not just the ice cream. I find the prices a little high but they have so many flavours.

The service at this restaurant was fast, friendly, and efficient. The coffee had the classic Tim Hortons flavor, and the vanilla dip was as delicious as always, albeit a bit slow in arriving.

The best ice cream in southern Alberta. Every week end there is a long line - up out the door...Locals and Calgarians frequent this store...My grandchildren love this place.
