I have a deep love for seafood, so I was eager to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered hush puppies and a catfish basket. The hush puppies were mediocre, earning a 5/10, while the catfish was far worse, a mere 2.5/10. It had a rubbery texture and carried a smell and taste reminiscent of an old refrigerator. Honestly, it didn't seem or taste fully cooked. This was certainly the worst catfish I've ever had. I’m relieved I didn’t opt for the seafood bowl as I had initially planned, as that might have turned my disappointment into anger. I won’t be coming back here again. I was quite disappointed with the fried tilapia basket. The fish had an unpleasant, refrigerator-like taste and was quite dry. I ended up throwing it away, along with the fried okra, which had the same off taste and dryness—it really felt like it had been made a day or two prior. Additionally, the ranch dressing for the okra came in packets, which wasn't very appealing. The shrimp fried rice was decent, but overall, I'm just here for a few weeks and wouldn't consider coming back to this restaurant.
This was my first visit to Mad Crab, but it definitely won't be my last. The staff was friendly, and the food was well-packaged, hot, fresh, and incredibly tasty! I ordered the half-pound snow crab and shrimp with mixed flavors, and it was perfect! They truly made a lasting impression on my family and me. If you're in search of a plain, boring crab boil, this place is NOT for you! Each bag of crab boil is bursting with delicious flavors!

I give them five stars! This was my first visit, and I ordered the lobster, crab boil, and fried catfish with shrimp. We absolutely loved the food; it was seasoned to perfection! The only thing I would suggest is to offer tools for cracking and eating the crab. Other than that, the food was perfect. The service was satisfactory as well.
The food is exceptional. The staff clearly takes their jobs seriously and are very thorough. I really wish they offered indoor dining, but until that happens, I’ll definitely be a regular for takeout.
Our server, Ni, was wonderful during our family celebration for my grandmother's birthday. The food was incredible, and she ensured that everyone was satisfied throughout our afternoon!
