Mad Hatters - Réservation de table

We decided to visit this cafe because it is dog-friendly, but we didn't bring our dogs inside because it was very cold. The tiled floor would have been uncomfortable for them. The food was decent, but we opted for the smaller breakfast at £6.45, as the full breakfast seemed a bit pricey at £9.15. The door was left wide open, making the cafe feel even colder. The staff appeared cold and were seen rubbing their hands, which made us feel sorry for them having to work in such chilly conditions.

Checked web site before going for lunch and this confirmed the cafe closed at 3pm. Arrived at 2.15pm to be told no food! Why advertise 3pm closing when you can’t get food at 2.15pm. If had been 2.50pm then I could understand. Wasted journey and will not be returning.

Everywhere I go the all day breakfast is not very substantial or tasty and has all the taste taken away because they take the fat away. We eat low carb high fat and the breakfast at this cafe is A1. The staff are polite and friendly. Loo at the back. Very nice.

We stopped by today for a coffee and a snack. We were happy to find out that our dogs were allowed inside with us. The coffee and scones were tasty. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return in the future. Réservez une table maintenant

The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic and they are dog-friendly. The Scottish breakfast was decent. The coffee was instant but still enjoyable. The locals were very friendly and great to strike up a conversation with.

Friendly, polite staff, quick service, lovely food, plentiful portions and well cooked and presented. Ambience was peaceful and quiet and conducive to enjoying a meal.

Great find whilst in area on holiday. So good we visited four times and every visit welcoming and good food and drink. Very reasonable prices.

called in this morning at the beginning of our trip home. only had coffee, water, scone and tea cake. all delicious. a real little gem. Réservez une table maintenant

Stopped for a late lunch and had really tasty food and the portion size and value for money was excellent. Friendly service too.

I went here a couple of times over the Christmas period and had the veggie breakfast, food good, service good, price good.
