Diego is an excellent waiter and manager who takes great care of his customers. Despite being the only one working, he is attentive, accommodating, and overall delightful. He is very passionate about the restaurant and the Sunday afternoon jazz. The pizza is outstanding and the atmosphere is wonderful. It's unfortunate that you can't order Mad Pizza Darlinghurst through food delivery services, even though it is listed on their websites. This is something that should be addressed, as I had previously experienced this issue when trying to order from them. However, this does not change my 5-star rating!
As a group of twelve, we went here prior to getting to the Harbour area for Vivid.Both the food and the drinks menus were extensive, not overpriced and we got value for money.Service was prompt, helpful and attentive. We had a selection of 4 pizzas (averaging about $24), plus the gnocchi. All dishes shared between the group; we were all satisfied with each pizza. The gnocchi was a stand out. All dishes presented were large servings.Due to the efficiency of the place we were in and out in good time to meet our harbour trip commitments.
I absolutely loved the pizza at this restaurant! They use Caputo flour, which is definitely the best flour out there. The toppings were fresh, and the vegan pizzas were delicious. However, I can't give a 5-star rating because the service was subpar; the waitress had a terrible attitude. Also, we were seated in the room above the pizza oven, and it was extremely smoky and hot. We ended up smelling like food once we left.
Great pizza & great place to take the family. The chilli garlic prawn pizza rocks. My kids love the place too. They even make my 9 yr old son a garlic pizza which isn't on the menu. Bradley & the staff are always very friendly & nothing is a problem. They also serve the "real" Italian Peroni beer. I've eaten at Mad Pizza over 10 times & they have never let me down.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant, all thanks to Diego. He truly went the extra mile to ensure I had a fabulous time. He even made a special Limoncello drink for me, which was amazing. I highly recommend trying the half and half option, as I chose the Hot D*mn!! Otto Bianco pizza, and it was cooked perfectly with generous toppings.
Crust was average in the context of places that specialise in pizza- its best feature was it wasn't wet in the middle. Toppings were thin even for a non American style pizza. Soft drink tasted old like when you leave half a bottle in the fridge and go away for a month. Pretty offended by that actually. The serving girl was nice. That's about it...
This is a nice casual place for lunch or dinner with friends. You can enjoy dining indoors or outside. Love the $13 half-pizza lunch specials which are a bargain and a major drawcard. There are plenty of pizza choices to choose from, they are decent tasting and wait time isn't long.
I visited with 3 of my friends and we had the $12.50 lunch deal which includes a 9 inch pizza and a soft drink. The pizza was absolutely beautiful and we were served by a welcoming waitress from Bristol in the UK. Great service, great food and I would recommend this to anyone!

Love going here, service is quick and friendly, good food options for everyone and delicious, have had both pasta and different pizzas here and have never been dissapointed!
Overall a good pizza, nice dough/crust and great that they offer 1/2 and 1/2. Slightly light on toppings for the price so took off a star.
