I love Vietnamese food but we don't have many of this style of restaurant in Dublin. Berlin on the other hand has many. I was going to eat in Monsieur Vuong which I visited a couple of times before. However our Airbnb host recommended Madami 2 which was also close by so we opted for this instead.It was busy but we managed to get a table immediately. The menu is in German with English underneath. Leider hat das nach dem Umbau und dem neuen Namen (Mlem Mlem Madami) nichts mehr mit dem alten Laden bzw. der Qualität vom madami zu tun. Es ist verhältnismäßig teuer geworden, die Qualität hat dafür aber stark nachgelassen. Die madami Asia Burger waren immer ein Highlight.. soviel vorab, bestellt sie nicht mehr! Beide Burger, chicken und beef (14€ 15€ ohne Beilagen) waren in Soße ertränkt und einfach nicht gut. Mit Asia Bao Burger hatte es auch nichts mehr zu tun.. nur das Bao Bun erinnert noch daran. Excellent food at this wee restaurant. We sat outside and listened to the trains go by in the shadow of the TV tower and had the best meal I've had for ages. The prawns in crispy green rice were soooo tasty that it was a treat to find them in my main course too along with some crispy duck. The food was fresh and tasty and arrive at the table quickly and the service was really friendly but not over attentive. As with everywhere we ate there was no rush to move us on once we'd eaten so we lingered to enjoy our drinks. We'd have been happy to go back a third time but felt we should venture elsewhere.
My partner and I came here for dinner the other night and really enjoyed our meal. I love Vietnamese food and this certainly did not disappoint. We shared a mixed platter to start and for our mains my partner had a beef dish and I...had a duck and noodle dish – both perfectly prepared and delicious. Service was not that attentive or friendly but was adequate and the food more than made up for any lacking on that score!

Ich habe einen Bao Burger zum mitnehmen mit Hühnchen bestellt und dazu Süßkartoffelpommes. Der Burger was so lecker... Wahnsinn! Ich kannte bisher nur Vietnamesische Banh mi als Sandwich, aber der Burger übertrifft alles : sehr empfehlenswert! Das Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet und das Personal nett. Zum Essen vor Ort also auch eine klare Empfehlung.
We ate here at about 5 pm on a Friday, so we got there just before the evening rush. The staff were lovely and noticed immediately that our table was wobbly and brought us a wedge to put under it. The food came out really fast and was delicious! Would recommend to anyone as they cater for all levels of spice preference.
Sehr schmackhafte Küche, nettes Personal, gemütliches Ambiente, was wünscht man sich mehr? Ich würde es durchaus wieder besuchen! Die Preise für ein Hauptgericht bewegen sich etwa zwischen 15 und 20 Euro.
Leider macht das Essen den Eindruck dass da die Hand ausgerutscht ist beim Geschmacksverstärker... Schade, denn ich mag keine Bauchschmerzen und Durchfall nach einem Restaurant Besuch.

Very pleasant dinner for a very reasonable price, assisted by friendly staff. Chose a set menu which provided us with a nice choice of dishes.
