I visited this tea house with my mother while she was in town. I had heard good things about it, so I was eager to try it out. However, when we arrived, the atmosphere was cold and empty, and it was unclear where we should sit. It didn't feel like a typical tea house experience. We ordered tea, and while the concept of choosing a cup from the walls of cups was cute, I had doubts about the cleanliness of the cups. The carrot lentil soup I ordered was bland and watery, lacking lentils and with only small carrot shreds. The mango curry chicken tea sandwich had no flavor of curry or mango. The service was decent initially but became slow after we ordered our entrees. The scone I ordered had a ha...

The menu advertised a price of $27 for a sandwich tray with scones and mini cakes for one person. I requested one tray for the two of us to share. We were disappointed to receive very basic sandwiches made with crusty white bread, one side with egg and bacon crumbs, the other with chicken and cucumber. The lunch was nothing special. We also ordered two teapots, a hot chocolate, and a cup of milk. To our surprise, our bill came out to be 3 times $27, plus an additional $16 for our 3-year-old grandson, totaling $97 plus tax. We felt this was extremely high for such an ordinary meal. The service was also lacking, as the waitress did not inform us in advance about the $27 per person charge. Over...

We were here one or two years ago after the matinee at the theatre and found the tea and pastries really great. Sadly, this time, things have changed. All three of us ordered different teas, and we all found that they were very weak, and not at all tasty. When we peered inside, we could see that the amount of tea was quite skimpy with respect to the tea pot. the amount of leaves might have been adequate for a cup, but not for a pot. Two of us ordered scones and they were not only incredibly small but not at all scone like and not tasty. Starbucks does a better job. This place needs to rethink what it is doing, especially with the amount of tea leaves. $11 for a pot of weak tea and one paltry...

Sorry to say that this tea room is not the same since the original "Miss Clifford" sold it. I have been twice since then. The most recent time I took my two sisters-in-law. We had soup and sandwiches. The sandwiches were half decent, but my sister-in-law stated that her vegetable soup tasted like "weight-watchers" soup, extremely watery. The scones were un-inspiring. Unfortunately, the new owner does not seem to "love" what she is doing, The welcome was less than warm. Maybe things will change for the better.

Went on a Weekday afternoon . They have a good selection of loose leaf teas which are served in quirky teapots. You get to pick your teacup .Sandwiches were freshly made and there was a good choice of fillings . Scone comes already split with cream and jam on it . $27 per person . Highly recommend especially to people on west island . Took us about 35 mins to get there .

lovely little place in Hudson. Staff was very friendly.. and knew their tea.. and was able to assist in picking one. You pick you own tea cup and saucer .. which is nice.. as you picked what you liked. Nice way to spend an afternoon and have some tea. Desserts were excellent too !! Réservez une table maintenant

The service was a bit slow? But the place was really cute, the people working there were adorable and the food and tea were very good! Definitely recommend this place if you are in the area!
