The prices at this restaurant are very affordable, which is great. My mum and I ordered two hot dog specials (which included a hot dog, crisps or sweets, and a very small slush or flavored water for £3.49). However, only one of the specials arrived. After getting the attention of a worker, we explained that we had paid for two but were made to pay for the second one again. Overall, it was a bad experience and I would not recommend this place.
Madison's is the place to go too. Well so we have always thought before. I couldn't believe the prices have gone up so much since the last time we've been. Today I was in the mood for a baked tattie with tuna. £7.45! for a great tasting decent tattie with 3 piece of cucumber, 4 tiny slices of tomato skin with no actual tomato and watery lettuce. Hubby's egg roll was just a scraping of egg. Very poor, felt empty.
This restaurant is a nice spot to grab coffee. It's not overly expensive and seems to be quite popular. The location is good. The coffee was just average and not as hot as I would have liked. I mentioned it to the staff but was told that it was the set temperature on the machine. The rest of our order was decent. The menu offers a good variety of options.
I discovered this cafe on a rainy Sunday when most places in Montrose were closed. We were pleasantly surprised! The breakfast rolls were delicious and reasonably priced. The friendly staff provided table service. What more could you want? Réservez une table maintenant
Came in past for a hot drink and cake while passing through. Very dark and dingy. 50 shades of chocolate brown come to mind with the decor. Limited lighting and space to move . My advise . . . Take a torch with you.
We went in for a coffee and a toasted sandwich on a wet Sunday afternoon. The coffee was very welcome. I thought that the toasted sandwich was OK but I have had better.
Reasonably priced with friendly staff, for coffee and a cake or a lunch a good place to visit, really enjoyed the roll and Lorn (square) sausage
