One of the 1st bars I fell in love with in San Francisco. I booked a table because I wanted to bring my father here to show off. I won’t be bringing anyone else again. The table I was put at was beside the door, behind a wooden panel with no view of anything else except the door that kept swinging open and a big wooden a panel. I asked to move but was told it was too busy even though there was 3/4 empty tables. People were sat no problem at these tables by just walking in. But people who reserve a seat get sat in the worst seat in San Francisco? Strange. It then took 20 minutes for anyone to take our order. I ordered a beer and when it came, it had 3 ice cubes in it! The server did change it...
The service at this restaurant was just right - attentive and cheerful. Our server provided detailed answers to our questions about the various beers and ales without coming across as pretentious. The brewery in the name is authentic, and the selection of brews is unique and not your typical off-the-shelf options. The menu offers a nice variety of well-prepared dishes that are not overly complicated.
Booked a table bc .. Saturday and it is in a popular tourist area, really glad I did bc they had a booth ready for us when we arrived. Our server was friendly, food was good and came out fast considering how busy they were. The deviled eggs were super good so were the beignets! We had a lot of fun and enjoyed the experience!
The restaurant typically has an excellent variety of beers, but unfortunately, when we visited on a Sunday, most of their selection was sold out due to the Outside Lands 3-day concert in Golden Gate Park. The food is consistently delicious, particularly the rustic pate, hand-made sausages, and short ribs entree.

I hate to share the secret but their ahi tuna sandwich is magic and my favorite dish in SF. The on-site craft beers are superb, and in the past few years they redid the menu to be as excellent. If you can't pick which beer, enjoy a flight.
Good selections of food and beer, and the service is always great. Wouldn’t necessarily suggest if you trying to have a conversational dinner though, as it’s a bit noisy.
The meal was excellent and the service was great. It did feel a bit chilly when there were only a few people in the restaurant.
Too loud and music was also blaring... Food was disappointing, greasy and the chicken was rubbery.
