Indian restaurants are few in Germany, and normally we would not bother to try them. By chance we noticed it on a side street and looked it up, it was the good reviews that tempted us. We were greeted by an Indian woman who was able to converse perfectly in English, we overheard her later just as at ease in German. After selecting a variety of dishes, she advised us that we had ordered too much and we were advised to order just one starter and one main each. She was right we shared our starters and mains and they were ample, no room for any afters.The food was excellent in taste and presentation and very reasonably priced. The food was amazing. I've eaten Indian food all over the world and this is right up there with the best. When I walked in on a cold and dreary German day I was transported. It was warm, charming and reflected the cuisine. Fresh flowers on the tables completed the experience. The waitstaff were attentive and wonderful. I arrived as a party of 1 right at opening. They could not have been more gracious. Highly recommend!

We have eaten Indian food in many countries this was one of the Best. The Tika Marsala is amazing. The good presentation is beautiful. We are in London now and have eaten a few Indian resturants this place could reach them all a thing or two. The ower and staff are very personable and friendly. The after dinner shot is always a bonus.

The food tastes ok. However, It doesn’t taste like any Indian food I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten a lot of Indian food. We ate here years ago and didn’t care for it. Decided to give it another go; still didn’t care for it. Spent 50€ on 4 entrees all of which were thrown into the garbage. Réservez une table maintenant

A good place to go for lunch and dinner. Food is on point both for take out and dine it. The chai tea is decent, service is attentive, the manager/owner dude can speak like 5 or maybe more languages. The setting is pretty homey and comfortably decorated.

The Mahrajah has very good food! I am never disappointed when I go there. The staff is friendly and they are very helpful. It is easy to get questions answered and food choices explained. The nan is absolutely incredible as well.

Best Indian restaurant in germany , truly authentic Indian food , never eaten such good food out of India. The people around there are so friendly and make your day. If you are around don't forget to try the MANGO LASSI.
