This is authentic Indian food, as my husband who is from India confirms. Very well spiced, spices are adjusted to taste on request. The choice is wide, also for vegetarians. Especially the tandoors are to be recommended. The service is very friendly and attentive. As...far as alleged hygienic problems are concerned (there is a law suit pending), the entry has been revoked on the grounds that there were no issues on further investigation (February 2014, ka-news).
Wir erhielten einen sehr unfreundlichen Empfang. Der Tisch wurde und mit Kopf-in-die-Richtung-weisend zugeteilt. Die Tischdecke war noch vom Vorgänger bekleckert und wurde nicht ausgewechselt. Der Salat war lieblos und billig in der Auswahl. Dem Essen fehlte es an der indischen Raffinesse und dem: Das Auge isst mit. Wir werden es nie wieder besuchen und auch nicht empfehlen!!!
Delicious cooking! The Karahi Gosht and Lamb Vindaloo are my favorite. The lamb vindaloo was not spicy to me (despite the sign on menu). Out of 2 Indian restaurants in Karlsruhe I tried, I like this better. The spices are as strong as I remember how it should when I eat in Asia but not overwhelming and very balanced. Service was great, cute little place, neat and clean.
Eating is okay. Unfortunately, this restaurant is also rather a European Indian than an Indian. Speak the dishes were strongly Europeanized from the spices. Not so recommended is the starter plate for 2 people. Ordering individual appetizers, then it has a greater range of flavors. Mangolassi could have more mango inside. Réservez une table maintenant
Food Excellent. Some of the best east indian cuisine I have tried. Atmosphere Restaurant style; somewhat formal (as opposed to pub style . Even though no dress code is required, this is a nicer restaurant. Chair and table seating. Service The waiter didn 't stop by...the table to check on drinks and food at all.
It is a nice restaurant and nice food... we had ordered for one of our birthday parties (veg non-veg included). All guests enjoyed the food and appreciate the taste. It's good to go. One of the best restaurants in Karlsruhe.
Super delicious food in large portions and supplements at an unbeatable price. Super in combination with a staircase rose to the Turmberg and then a super food as a reward :
