Mahe Seal Beach - Réservation de table

One of my favorite Seal Beach restaurants. We brought our house guests tonight for their last meal before flying home. Wanted some place with lots of options, great ambiance and good cocktails. Nailed it! We started with some sushi before ordering our main meals. The Queen roll was delicious. I love the soy paper versus seaweed! The sashimi was also tasty. For my meal I god the ahi with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. I wish it wasn’t the fat asparagus. I like the thinner ones best. Hubby got the blackened swordfish. I loved it but he didn’t care that much for sauce. Can’t go wrong with crème brûlée for dinner. Need to go here more often. They’ve got tons of choices and many I need to...

good service, good food, would go back. artichoke was okay, but I don't really understand artichoke. the mahe mahi was great, great texture, not overcooked, just perfectly cooked. the cha pe no was amazing and filling. my only critique would be the crab in the cha pe no was something too salty, but not sure if they could do something about it, or that is just the crab of course. the service was good, the staff was attentive. we had to wait 30 minutes to sit down, so I recommend a reservation. great for a date night.

Mahe used to be so much much better which makes me so sad. The quality and taste is just not the same. Burger was sloppy and mushy, stuffed chicken was ok, but the filling was a bit unappetizing. Rolls were cut like they didn't have sharp knives and they couldn't be picked up with chopsticks. But five stars to the tempura which is the best tempura around and couldn't stop eating the spicy edamame!

Unfortunately we went yesterday and for the 2nd time the food was horrible. All of the rolls that were once delicious, were awful. Their ice cream roll was extremely disappointing. A complete different taste, large chunks of fish instead of properly cut up into small pieces. We will not return. They just lost 10 people, that routinely went with out of town guests Réservez une table maintenant

Meh....More overpriced seafood on pch. if I will pay so much, I just go to the road to the boathouse. at least they can justify bending us with this beautiful view and live music on the terrace.

The appetizers were good but I spend $65 on the bone in steak and it was terrible. The steak was sweet and mushy. It was expensive and not very good Réservez une table maintenant

My favorite sushi bar. Everything is great, and the chefs are amazing. There is a bar in the back that's outstanding too.
