The owner and staff are RACIST... My family and I waited for over an hour for food that never came. We ordered the special and observed white consumers who came in after us get the special but we were told “they had no more”. The white patrons were being seated and served with full attentive respect and we could barely get drinks or engagement from our waitress. The manager and/or owner whatever he was, had zero regard for our concerns , which led me to the certainty that it was intentional. We traveled to Louisiana to drive up the historic route of 3049. We found this recently and decided to make the drive over to see the sites. The time to go is in June when the flowers are blooming, but we went anyway. It is a very pretty drive, but as it came time to eat, we couldn't find a restaurant. That's when we saw this one in Gilliam. It was nearly 2 p.m., and we were not sure they would seat us. When we walked in, they met us at the door and showed us a seat. They said it was no problem and took our orders. The food came out quickly and was hot. I had the Chicken Fried Steak, and my wife had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. I can't rate them for nothing from the moment we walked In ALL EYE'S was on me and my husband then not to mention the server came up spoke and asked how many mind you it was several tables available she said what's your name i'm like what's wrong is it a wait she says um yea so why the hell so with all these tables available so now i'm lost and tells my husband let's ho cause the EYE'S was already on us from the moment we walked in now we gotta wait. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. NEVER AGAIN AND WE DROVE 36MILES.
