Mes attentes étaient peut-être trop élevées mais j'ai été assez déçu de mon dîner. J'avais une voiture mais j'ai choisi de prendre un taxi pensant que la soirée serait longue. Le patio extérieur et les vignobles environnants sont certes agréables mais le bruit de la circulation était une distraction. La source du bruit est éloignée mais perceptible étant donné que l'emplacement du restaurant est à flanc de colline. Les deux serveurs étaient attentifs et couraient littéralement à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur avec leurs commandes même s'il n'y avait pas beaucoup de convives. Il doit y avoir un long chemin jusqu'à la cuisine ? La vraie déception était la nourriture. Le chef possède certainement...
Nous étions ici dans le cadre d'un petit groupe lors d'une excursion d'une journée à travers les vignobles de la Côte du Rhône. Le cadre pour déjeuner, sur la terrasse jouxtant les vignes était tout simplement superbe. Le service était impeccable. La nourriture était très bonne - j'avais comme plat principal un pavé de poisson blanc sur une purée de carottes. Même si la présentation de la nourriture était excellente et les saveurs bonnes, je dois dire que la nourriture ne m'a pas vraiment époustouflé, mais dans l'ensemble, ce fut un déjeuner très agréable.
The pleasure starts when you enter the property: a wine yard surrounded by mountains. Then the waiters are so nice and taking the time to explain all details. The chef came to us in person to present the daily dishes and give advice on wines. And then... we got our main course... just an un-forgettable experience! Now waiting for desert, but i could not wait to write already the review. Great place, highly recommended. Our hotel in Tournon-Sur-Rhône recommended this restaurant. We needed to take a taxi there which was quite expensive for the short distance. The restaurant is located away from the town surrounded by vineyards. Most of the tables are outdoors in the patio and the indoor tables are in a depressing room. It is better to sit outside. The meal was very good but I would not say it was exceptional and the menu was limited in choices.

This was in combination with a visit to Cave du Tain (same owners). We had prebooked and had a table with very nice views close to the vineyards. The menu was already set, as well as the wines. Food, wine and service very good and at a price of appr € 50 per person for three-course lunch with wine, that was reasonable!
Sitting on the terrace among the vineyards at this restaurant on the outskirts of Tain L’Hermitage is just lovely. Unfortunately the food did not live up to the setting. Not that the food was poorly prepared, but it just seemed to pale in comparison with the locale.
Magical dinner on a beautiful terrasse overlooking the Cave de Tain vineyards... You will find a charming service and an attractive menu with a mostly local wine list, I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.
We found the interior a bit dark, but in a beautiful late September evening it was perfect to sit outside under the trees. Food and service was delightful, could not ask for anything more.

Lovely location, good service. Food was delicious. Prices on the higher side, but to be expected for the location and elevated dishes.
Excellent service and food, loved all dishes. Wine may be was not the best but anyway I try to go for a good value for money.
