Maize Mash - Réservation de table

Stopped in after dinner to get drinks and dessert. We tried the craft cocktails: G.O.A.T. and Ain?t Nothing But A Hound Dog, and also had a Brownie dessert (added ice cream to make it into a Sundae! and although the drinks were not typical of what wenormally would order, we enjoyed everything else about Maize Mash! The ambiance, service, and the dessert were incredible! We were offered an opportunity to change out our drinks since they were stronger than what we are used to (beer or winedrinkers , but opted to stick through and continue sipping on them. To me, the G.O.A.T. has a definitive taste of meat off thegrill (from the bacon flavor and the Hound Dog required more of the Banana Liquor...

I absolutely adored the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. This was my second time ordering it. The tables in this restaurant quickly become occupied within just 5 minutes of opening for lunch. If you want to secure a table, make sure to arrive before they open, especially on a Friday. However, there is plenty of bar seating available. The service was friendly and the food arrived promptly and piping hot. The fries were delicious.

Server/Barkeepers should give their guests more attention than their phones. their phones will always be there for them. Unfortunately, guests like us feed on their service and will therefore not be back. also, give them some attention to their guests while we watch them only chitchatting behind the bar. I'm sorry to disturb them at their workstation where we should feel welcome. we were first timer, but we won't be back.

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, but there can be long wait times on busy days. We had to wait 45 minutes for a table, and once seated upstairs, we waited a long time for someone to take our order. When we finally did order, the cauliflower lacked flavor and the egg appetizer was disappointing. We decided to cancel our main course as we were not impressed with the appetizers. I have visited this restaurant a few times and I am always impressed by the selection of whiskies and cocktails. The food is creative and delicious. The only downside is that it is a small restaurant with long wait times for those without reservations, and the atmosphere can be loud. Definitely a must-visit for whisky lovers. Comparable to Longman and Eagle in the city.

We tried the short rib poutine and cauliflower tots, which we all found delicious. I ordered the Veggie burger with a side salad, and loved the crunchy mushroom patty and fresh presentation. The atmosphere at the restaurant added to the modern and cozy feel of the place, making it a great spot for a social gathering.
