Stopped in after dinner to get drinks and dessert. We tried the craft cocktails: G.O.A.T. and Ain?t Nothing But A Hound Dog, and also had a Brownie dessert (added ice cream to make it into a Sundae! and although the drinks were not typical of what wenormally would order, we enjoyed everything else about Maize Mash! The ambiance, service, and the dessert were incredible! We were offered an opportunity to change out our drinks since they were stronger than what we are used to (beer or winedrinkers , but opted to stick through and continue sipping on them. To me, the G.O.A.T. has a definitive taste of meat off thegrill (from the bacon flavor and the Hound Dog required more of the Banana Liquor...
I didn't receive my food with the rest of my table, but I was fine with it. However, more than halfway through my meal, I discovered that my Nashville chicken sandwich (which was delicious!) had bacon on it. I don’t eat meat, and while I was initially okay with it, I was quite upset to find that mistake. Mistakes happen, though. After leaving, I accidentally left my card on the table and called to retrieve it, but they said they didn’t have it. The next day, I found fraudulent charges on my account. My patience is starting to wear thin…
Food was amazing! Server gave us recommendations and they were stellar. I had a mocktail, my husband had one of the whiskey cocktails and both were awesome. We shared the hot chicken baos (amazing), I had a salmon salad, my husband had the maize and mash burger with Mac n cheese, and we had broccolini on the side. Everything was delicious. Hidden gem!
The food was exquisite! The drinks were refreshing and innovative, perfectly balanced in flavor. The highlight of our visit was definitely the staff! Every team member was well-informed about both the drink and dinner menus and provided amazing recommendations. All in all, it was a fantastic evening out.

Stopped by after a long day of shopping. Such a good appetizers and drinks! The service was impeccable and the food was so good! Definitely a neighborhood gem
My wife and I have enjoyed everything we've tried. Each dish has been full of flavor. The short rib poutine appetizer is especially delicious.
Great craft cocktail Bar .Love this restaurant.I live in Chocago. But my go-to place when I visit burbs. City standards with suburban price.
