The hookah quality at Majlis was disappointing, and the service was frustratingly slow, taking over an hour and a half to address a simple issue. The manager seemed more interested in socializing and enjoying hookah with other customers than in attending to patrons' needs. Overall, the experience felt lackluster, suggesting that customer satisfaction is not a priority here.
The menu, which once was visually appealing and varied, has now been reduced to a plain, confusing laminated sheet. While some may prefer a minimalist design, it can be confusing for first-time visitors. After several disappointing visits, I’ve decided not to return with my friends. There are plenty of other hookah bars...
This is the perfect spot to hang out on the weekend! The atmosphere is filled with positive vibes, great music, delicious food, and excellent hookah. As a hookah lover, I've had this place on my mind for quite a while, and I'm so glad I finally went. The staff were friendly and respectful, especially Rizwan, who went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Highly recommended!
I had lunch at Majlis today and the waitstaff, both white and African American, were fantastic! They made it one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The food was delicious too. I tried the sweet chili wings (absolutely amazing), jerk chicken, grilled chicken sandwich, falooda, and lemonade mojito. Everything was excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly!
I dined at this restaurant today and had an excellent experience. The ambiance was enjoyable, free from loud music and unruly customers. The food was tasty and fairly priced. What really sets this restaurant apart is the outstanding service from the owner, who is very hands-on in the operation. I highly recommend this place and look forward to returning soon.

Everything about this place is amazing ! The food, hookah and customer service. Rizwan is a fantastic host. I was here on a visit and will definitely be coming back when i'm in the states. Cant go wrong with this place. Ps. Always ask Rizwan what to eat and order he's good and providing the best service every.
I have been a regular at Majlis since it opened, and I must say it just keeps getting better! The food is always delicious, and the hookah is outstanding. Without a doubt, this is the best spot near Long Island! It’s our go-to place for a relaxed and enjoyable night out.
I have been coming here for many years and I can 100% say that majlis has the best hookah and food in the city! If your looking for the best experience look for the assistant manager Dillon, he knows his stuff!
