Great little lunch spot! Food was hot and fresh. The catfish sandwich was absolutely amazing, highly recommend. The burger was also tasty! Fries were good, but seemed to not be salted at all. Had to wait a good bit for our food, but the sandwiches were worth it. The place was packed when we got there (and I see why! . The seating was cramped and broken (my seat had a pretty large gaping hole , and there was no restroom available for use. Still, will definitely pop back in!
We absolutely loved this place when we visited last week! I had heard about it from a coworker and really enjoy hole in the wall places. We both really enjoyed our food and my catfish was buttery soft! A perfect place to hit that craving! They were out of tea and didn’t have a bathroom for public use, but the food came out fast and was very hot when it reached our table. We will definitely be going back!
This is a fantastic little dive joint right here in Downtown Evansville! They have a very large menu with lots of different American classics. I got the catfish sandwich with fries and it was awesome! The only reason I deducted a star is because my sandwich bun was a bit soggy and not toasted. The fries I had on the side were excellent too! Overall, this was a good joint that we ate at.

Can’t say enough good about this place. The owner is awesome and makes everything with a passion. We talked to him and he is always trying to come out with something to please his customers. The grilled chicken sandwich is killer and the buffalo chicken tenders are literally the best I have ever had... love seeing this place do well!
My friend wanted to ride okra after he had ordered and paid for our food and the guy who waited for us gave us some on the house is very good atmosphere very good in the kitchen was amazing, can not say enough good things about this place clean it is just very good place I love it
Best fish place in the city, by far. This locally owned business has the Nicest owners, I've ever seen. Their was a lady that came in with medical issues and the owner said a pray for her, you just don't see that. We need more people like this.
Great casual lunch in downtown! In any case, you will get there early if you want a table because they tend to be busy at 11:30 or noon. I really like their chicken stripe basket, but their fish and chips are also very popular. Réservez une table maintenant
