Makla Bistro - Réservation de table

The last time at Makla I rated all at 10/10 This experience was very different. The food ok but not as good as had tagine. A large noisy party arrived and were sat right in middle upstairs. I had to leave as they were so noisy and rude. Leaning on our table to take selfies and scraping chairs on floor. Felt really uncomfortable.

it was a quiet night, so there were many free tables, but I prefer it. the tables are a little small when there are 4 people eating and drinks, and the wooden chairs are not so comfortable at the end of an hour sitting time, but over all food was good, and much to fill a hungry man, and the welcome warm and authentic.

This was our third visit and unfortunately the service was was really bad. Staff were friendly but there was clearly something going wrong, and not just for us. It was one thing after another. They did apologise at the end but it was embarrassing at times. Very unfortunate but hopefully a one off.

A lovely evening at Makla. Moroccan food with a nod to British culture. Loved the lamb shank tagine, the meat was so tender, absolutely delicious! Would definitely return. Réservez une table maintenant

Enjoyed our evening at Makla. The food was tasty. The music got a bit ‘dramatic’ so we asked for it to be changed which the staff happily did so. I’d definitely return.
