Malabar - Réserver une table

After trying numerous Indian restaurants in our area, Malabar was one that had yet to be on our list. Despite hearing positive reviews, we decided to give it a shot. While the food was decent, it wasn't exceptional. The restaurant had received awards in 2013 and 2016, but we felt that these accolades were now outdated. Upon arrival, we requested poppadoms to snack on while we perused the menu, only to be told that we couldn't have them until we placed our main order. Until recently the food at Malabar has been superb, especially the lamb chops which were the best anywhere. Unfortunately, our most recent two visits have been disappointing with dry, overcooked food and lamb chops which were tough and mostly gristle. Either they have a new chef or a new supplier of produce, possibly both, but standards have definitely slipped over the last couple of weeks or so. Based on our earlier great experiences we'll give them one more go but there will need to be a dramatic improvement if they're to retain our custom.

Lovely quality food and very tasty! My only niggle is the portion sizes (takeaway) are on the smaller side for the price. Would definitely recommend though

We had a fantastic dinner last night. The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It's best to visit during the week when it's not too crowded.

The restaurant is amazing, but unfortunately the food wasn't great. It's a shame because I know you guys can do better. (Curry King)
