Malai Thai Street Food

We happened upon this lovely restaurant whilst wandering on Newland Avenue. Wanting to try somewhere different for lunch we thought this would tick that box. Lovely, cosy interior. Nicely decorated with Thai touches throughout added to the decor. Toilet facilities clean and well stocked. Now to the food... 2 courses for £14.95 each. Very good value. Lattes each for our beverage. Tiger prawn starter and a beef curry main for hubby. Vegetable starter and Quorn vegetable stir-fry main for me. Food arrived piping hot. All freshly cooked to order. Totally fabulous flavours and presentation. Faultless dining experience including the lovely table staff. I highly recommend and will definitely return...

Last minute visit here for lunch today and we was not disappointed! The spring rolls tempura veg and prawns were amazing we ordered the Thai green curry and a spicy stir-fry both were so so good. All food was fresh and piping hot and very good value for money 4 starters 2 mains and 4 beers £48 bargain will definitely be returning and would highly recommend. I have visited this restaurant many times and always enjoy my experience. The Malaysian food is delicious, authentic, and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to allergies and vegan preferences.
