During our work trip to Detroit, we decided to check out this highly-reviewed spot near DTW airport. Situated in a small plaza, parking was plentiful. Service here was top notch but the food tasted mediocre at best. Our waitress was attentive and even helped sub a couple of items in our order. 10 10 for service. The portions were large and the combo meal for two was perfect for two people- we had plenty of leftovers. It came with a delicious crisp salad and bread for appetizers. The staff at this restaurant seemed quite self-centered and could benefit from some humility. When I came in to pick up my food, I greeted them, but they were silent and avoided making eye contact, making me feel invisible. The food was mediocre at best, but the customer service was a complete letdown—0 out of 10. I've had a much better experience at the Dearborn location.
cockroach was in my rice and said peekaboo and i got food poisening from here and never eating here again not clean that means they are infested with cockroaches

Love Maleks! Service is always good, food is always good. Our go to is fattoush salad and their whole chicken and rice dinner.
I had a takeout of the veggie gallayah..Very yummy with a side is the mushrooms... plenty of really good food.
