I'm sad to give this charming little place such a fucking review, but I had such an unpleasant experience with a waiter that I had to share it. I think the waiter was the son of the woman who owns the restaurant. When he asked me what I wanted to drink, I immediately told him, and when he read the specials of the day, I did not say what I need a second to process what he just read, and he grabbed typical female, don't know what she wants me to find the sexist, inappropriate and unnecessary. we really enjoyed this place! even if we cried about min before the kitchens closed on a Sunday day before Christmas, they urged us and I am so glad that they did it! my NY man loves Italian eat, but it is really hard to come in the south. he said it's the best Italian food he had in a long time. eating was amazing, but our host, the owner giovanni, made it very unforgettable. he was personal and funny! as native we will definitely be back and recommend this place to our friends and customers!

Consummate professionals here. The outside of the restaurant doesn't match the inside. If you want a small feeling close dining experience with excellent food and service this is the place to go. The staff will make you feel confident in their abilities and help you order whats good!

the service was pleasant, but the “small cuts” were disappointing. veal francaise was ok and pasta was very good. Risotto dishes were excellent. weings were well dimensioned and martini and gimlets were very good

have often eaten here and never had a bad meal or experience with waiting staff. her auberginen parmesan is fabulous. their whistles are huge.
