This restaurant is definitely dining out on long gone excellence. The service was surly and abrupt (locals treated differently) and was changed tables mid meal to accommodate a party of 2. The food is both highly overrated and overpriced. The King Prawn Tandoori Masala was in essence vile, heavy with coconut and cloying sweetness — nothing like a true tikka, and there was no char or smokiness on the prawns. Majid the manager was very accommodating and we had the best food there. Nestled on the high street of the charming village of Cookham, this restaurant boasts beautiful flowers adorning its exterior. It has won numerous awards for its curry and comes highly recommended. The service is exceptional, and the lamb is cooked to tender perfection, melting in your mouth. A visit here is a must for anyone who enjoys fine dining. Overall, it's a very pleasant experience.

Birthday dinner on a Sunday evening. First visit and we were impressed with the varied menu and the freshness and presentation of dishes. The only slight negative was the high price for a fish dish that was rather disappointing, the fish being quite dry although in a sauce. Pleasant, efficient service and the bonus of a car park! After been refused from Peking Inn I went to this restaurant food was amazing thank you for your service honestly wish I went to this restaurant at first wouldn’t feel discriminated the way peking in treated me my wife and kid : Thank you Maliks food was great and your customer service was extremely great wish I could give you more stars

I had a fantastic experience at Maliks. I would definitely recommend it! The Indian cuisine is exquisite, well-prepared, and hearty. They are also willing to make non-spicy options for children. I would absolutely come back—10/10!

Slightly slow service but food was nice. Would struggle to differentiate it from my local (cheaper) dine-in Indian restaurant. Maybe that's more a reflection on me? Who knows?! Réservez une table maintenant
