The food was very good except for the Espresso martinis. I'm not sure if the y mixed in citrus vodka by accident or if that is just how they make them. My daughter and I couldn't drink it. It was Christmas eve and they were busy but our server didn't bring out our daily bread appetizer or my husband's salad until the main entrees came out. He said he didn't want it but she said they had already made it and set it own. Personally, I think it should have been taken off the bill but we didn't want to raise a fuss especially since our server seemed overwhelmed. My entree didn't come out until 10 minutes after the rest of the table and that was after I asked for it. I'm hoping this isn't a normal...
The Feast of the Seven Fishes was excellent. However, the courses were more substantial than I had anticipated and each new course arrived before we had quite finished the previous one. I wish we had had more time between courses to be able to give each course the attention it deserved. We were on a tight schedule, but had been told we should easily be done in an hour and a half. I feel that was insufficient. I would like to try this again next year, if offered, but would allow more time for spacing the courses.
The lemon chicken was absolutely delicious—cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The fish and chips were also fantastic, with a light, crispy coating on the flavorful fish. The salad was nice, too. I really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. I will definitely be back!
We had a wonderful lunch experience! The menu offered a fantastic variety of options at reasonable prices. Our waiter, Tony, was excellent.
