This place is a hidden gem In CT. I was looking for an authentic hawker style food in CT and happened to drive by while working in the area. I had been looking for Laksa and seen that it was an offering on their menu. I live in Wolcott and made the trip down just for that and discovered much more. I have been twice and while I have gotten same thing each time, it doesn't make any less special each time. The Laksa is AMAZING. I've had the chicken and pork and the Seafood Laksa and each one was perfect. Let me start off with....Mama Chow is my favorite all time place to eat! Yesterdays experience was very disappointing. I ordered take out, 2 Laska soups and hot oil dumplings. Hot oil dumplings are my go to. When I opened the container there was not hot oil but a dark soy based dipping sauce. It was good....but not what I ordered. Let's move on to the soup. So one soup have a side of the add in sauce and one did not....again....a little disappointing! So over looked that and said...not a problem the soup is still amazing. BUT the noodles were so overcooked that they were inedible. They literally turned into mush when added to the soup. I have never had an experience like this before and hopi...
I always love coming here! The staff are kind, caring, and remember you when you're a returning customer. I CRAVE their edamame with roasted garlic, rosemary, and crispy basil. Their Pho is the best I've had anywhere in CT. It's one of my favorite places and so worth the 40 minutes from my house to get there.
Mama Chow is one of my favorite restaurants in Fairfield county. We’ve tried their Pho Grill, Spicy Miso Ramen, Grilled Pork, Yaki Udon among other things. All have been delicious. The service is fast, friendly and helpful. We love it.

Best of the best, hands down. Followed Mama Chow from her previous employment and they hit it out of the park with this family owned spot. Delicious food every single time! Everything is always so fresh!
Warm cozy atmosphere and friendly service topped with authentic Malaysian style cuisine. I don't have to travel into Manhattan or Queens anymore for real Laksa!
Very good. Unique menu for the area Reminds me of the food I get in Singapore. I try to stop in whenever I am in the area.
