After being in Paris 5 days it was the perfect fix. Nice helpful staff and we didn't speak a lick of French. It was a cute side walk experience. Very relaxed situation. Its is very small and fills up very fast and the French do not rush your dining experience so if your not there when they open your going to wait a while. Food is expensive but it was worth it after 5 days of eating bread and such. Only desire is that they served liquor. But when I'm in Paris I'd definitely return.
I am in Paris for the next week or so and didn’t want to visit traditional restaurants. I did a search for “black owned” places to eat and Mama Jackson popped up immediately. I am so happy it did because the food was great as was the atmosphere and service…and the food…WOW! You could tell that every item was made to order and the portions were HUGE; enough to share definitely! It’s extremely convenient to the 1 as well and easy to find.
Restaurant The place is small, you will need to go early to find a place. You can not book in advance. Food the chicken and waffle was nice, the chicken was a bit dry but with the sirup it was fine. The plantain was a bit soft and the cheese didn’t really make sense Drinks they don’t have fizzy only normal juice, this is the guava juice Overall experience The music was old school so we would Sing along and the vibe was good too
Nous n'avons pas pu réaliser cela et nous ne savions pas qu'il fallait une réservation pour visiter. Il n'y avait pas de nourriture non plus. Ça sentait incroyable là-dedans et nous avions vraiment faim, mais ils nous ont envoyés dans un autre restaurant où la nourriture était délicieuse ! Appelez d'abord et réservez un taxi car il n'y a pas de place de parking. Réservez une table maintenant
Utterly freaking delicious. The fried chicken is a one to beat. The sourness of the coleslaw balanced the spiciness of the fries and the sweetness of the barbecue rice! It was totally worth the one hour wait. Spent the best 25 euros of my life. I would definitely recommend to you to visit this place and have the best food that will fill your soul!
Mama Jackson is the TRUTH! That was a spectacular experience. Soul food with a Jamaican turn. Plantains, red Coleslaw and the best Jamaican rice ever. The fried chicken and was great. You could taste the lemon in the dough. The desert was FrenchToast with Carmel sauce and fresh fruit.
Excellent experience for the family. We had fried chicken and waffles and it was the best! The staff was very friendly and pro. Great atmosphere of folks enjoying home cooking and listening to music. Definitely going back.

L'un des meilleurs poulets et gaufres à Paris. Je recommande également le Pecan Pie. Ce serait parfait si c'était un peu moins cher. Ça vaut vraiment le coup d'essayer.
