For as long as I can remember,Mama Ria's has been delivering the traditional hamburgers, fish and chips and pizzas to customer from its premises in the Canberra suburb of Holt. Through a number of owners the quality of food has been maintained so that the reputation of Mamas is widely known almost to legend status. Long before the trendy gourmet hamburgers being peddled by ultra trendy places outlets in caravans and other strange places, Mamas was delivering well prepared and cooked food that satisfied and drew repeat orders. So good. In fact, I think I might have another Mamas meal tonight. I know I won't be disappointed.
Mama's is an institution in the Kippax area. Great burgers, especially with the lot, great chicken and fantastic pizzas with toppings that make them an experience not just a stomach filler. Even more impressive you can order in advance and ALL dietary requests are met. We recently needed pizzas with no onion due to allergies and the attention to that detail was outstanding.
it is a one stop shop for all their food needs. burgers are amazing, fish is to die, not to mention it astonishing selection of foods and it is all freshly cooked. can't mistake the place, and now even have activities for children, is a stroke. if they stand up for a good honest feed, then this is the place to go.
Mama Ria's is one of my favourite fast food outlets when i have that craving for fish & chips, steak sandwich with the lot or deli style hamburgers. The fish and chip lunch pack is of particularly good value with a large serving of freshly fried chips and a choice out of 4 different salads or a bit of each salad.

I've been here for almost a decade. the quality is always fantastic and they have some of the best pizzas in canberra. the personal was always great and makes them welcome. when they visit canberra, I recommend that they choose them.

Been going to Mama Rias for delicious pizzas and hamburgers as long as I can remember. Massive size pizzas we struggle to get through a whole one with two boys!
Good family run take away. Pizzas are fantastic! Make sure you call 30 mins in advance on a Friday or sat night to order your pizza though. They get very busy!

we have been coming here for 30 years and find a better fishing and chip area. pizzas are amazing and you have to try the potato scallops!
