I have never eaten here but I see the reviews are great. I came home for a funeral and my son and I were headed back to Texas. He had a flat tire and stopped at a tire shop. We struck up a conversation with a guy who happened to be the owner and he invited us to the restaurant for a free fish dinner. We went but it wasn't open yet and we had to get one the road. I appreciate his offer and whenever I come home to McComb he has a customer for life. Thanks from my son and I.
Soul food! Very delicious! It’s served cafeteria style or you can order off a menu. I got the “junk pot” (shrimp, potato, sausage, turkey neck) with rice and beans! It was all tasty, hot, and everything was clean. This is a casual dining experience. My meal with a large drink was $16. I’ll come back.
I am a friend and family member for life...If you want REAL DOWN HOME COOKING ...You can 't miss out with MAMA RUBYS...if you haven 't eaten there you are surely missing out. Just take time and stop in and I promise you... not only will enjoy the food...you will leave feeling like FAMILY.!

The food is consistently outstanding! Jeff and his team have done a fantastic job. If you haven't had a chance to visit, I highly recommend checking them out!
