We come back here every year, always hoping for the same great food and service. Regardless of cost, this is not a given in France. And today we were not disappointed. We sat in the sun on the terrace, it was inevitably busy given the French, UK, Swiss and Belgian half term holidays, but the staff were friendly, unstressed and efficient. Excellent food, simple but tasty and excellent presentation. The steak tartare was particularly delicious. Kids option was basic (a green or two would have been good) but the kids polished it off. We will absolutely be back again.
We stumbled across this restaurant when skiing in terrible weather in April. We needed somewhere to recover! We received a very warm welcome and willingness to accommodate our limited budget. We had local fish with melt-in-your-mouth steak tartar and hand-cut chips. It was an interesting fusion and excellent value. The service was very friendly indeed. Unfortunately, the white-out prevented us from appreciating the view of Mont Blanc, so it would be nice to return in fine weather.
Nous y sommes allés deux fois lors de notre semaine de randonnée, une fois pour le dîner et une autre pour nous rafraîchir après la randonnée. Le restaurant est situé sur un emplacement parfait pour la vue sur le Mont Blanc et la nourriture était excellente avec une touche locale. Le personnel très sympathique et l'ambiance agréable. Nous aimerions certainement refaire l'expérience lorsque nous serons de nouveau dans la région.
Une superbe terrasse avec une vue magnifique sur le mont Blanc; le menu est créatif avec une part réservée aux plats locaux mais aussi quelques plats de bistrot avec des influences asiatiques. L'équipe est assez efficace et sympathique (le shot de génépi "offert par la maison" est un beau geste) et vous n'aurez pas besoin de réserver une semaine à l'avance pour déjeuner pendant la haute saison.

We went with a collegue for lunch, we asked to be surved quickly and we were. We took the dish of the day, "boeuf bourguignon with home maid French fries". It was very quickly served and the food was great, the view on the Mont Blanc is breathtaking... Service is good... The coffee was a bit expensive 2,9 euros but they offered us a shooter if "génépis" . Great move, we'll come back!
Great service and decent choice of food and drinks. Unparalleled view of Month Blanc from the terrace which is a sun trap. The terrace menu is slightly abbreviated from the restaurant but we is is quick and with a smile. Some of the dishes are a little below par with bakery basic presentation and ingredients.
It was a best way to rest our feet after a day on the mountain with a mojito and local food like saucisson and cheese at reasonable prices. Staff were very friendly and the ambience is pleasant and inviting on the terrace with an incredible view of Mont Blanc. It is on our list to revisit definitely.
We always enjoy eating here. Madame is unfailingly helpful and friendly. Need to book early in the morning in the busy seasons.ideal for a ski lunch tho two courses is sometimes more than one wants. Food always tasty..helpful with children. Fantastic views from terrace
