I rarely write negative reviews, but I had a terrible experience at this restaurant tonight. Despite there being only two tables inside, it took 53 minutes for our pizza to arrive. The older gentleman serving us was pleasant, but another employee spent more time on his phone and laughing at our table. When we asked how much longer our pizza would be after waiting for 45 minutes, he argued with us. This was the worst service I have ever received at this location, where we usually celebrate family birthdays throughout the year. From now on, I will drive the extra 10 minutes to the Arlington location instead. It was unacceptable for the staff to openly mock us as customers. It's a shame that they hire people like that.
I have been a longtime fan of Mama's pizza, but recently I have been extremely disappointed with their quality. I ordered a mushroom, pepperoni, and jalapeño pizza and was dismayed to find that it was mostly jalapeños, with very little pepperoni and mushroom. The cheese lacked texture and the pizza needed more time in the oven. It was clear that they were not busy, which only added to my disappointment. Overall, I was very let down by this experience.
I have no idea why this particular Mamas Pizza location can?t seem to cook a pizza properly? It is burned 100% of the time. I live 1 minute away, but would rather drive to Berry St or Bryant Irvin to satisfy my craving. Please MP, take note and fix thisissue. The attached photo is very typical of the way I?ve gotten my pizza every single time I bite the bullet and give themanother try.
