I know I say this will all the places I try, but this was so delicious! Everything was on point. Recommend the baby octopus, calzone #2), Penne Romana, even the garlic bread was delicious, crispy on the outside, soft and buttery, with a flutter of cheese.. The desserts were also great, we had the baked ricotta cheese cake and tiramisu. Only critique was the tiramisu didn't have enough sponge to Mascarpone as they used a glass with a smaller base to the rim, but still great. Can't wait to come again soon!
This restaurant is a classic Italian dining spot. The food is top-notch! The servers are very efficient and friendly. The portion sizes are perfect, and anyone who needs a massive amount of food on their plate is likely overweight and should consider a diet. The owner is a kind and welcoming person who goes above and beyond to take care of customers. A true gem in the area, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends.
The best local pizza around. The Four Seasons Signature pizza is exceptional. Couldn't get enough of the marinara pizza. The gorgonzola gnocchi is also fresh and delicious. The restaurant has a distinct Italian atmosphere. It's cozy but the seating is quite cramped. Tables are close together, enhancing the authentic Italian vibe. Reservations are recommended as tables fill up quickly.
Lovely little italian restaurant! The food was spot on, absolutely delicious. I am a Leichhardt local and a friend recommended that I try out Mamma Barone's can't thank them enough. The prawns barone' had to be my favourite, and the risotto marinara (fresh fresh seafood) hit the spot. 4.5 stars with ease

Easily one of the best Italian places in the area. Id advise sitting outside though as it gets very crowded and extremely noisy inside. It's got your basic Italian pasta and pizza but it does offer some good weekly specials.Overall id give it a 7 out of ten but I'm being generous.
Great venue for a slap up Italian the portions are huge, the prices are good value, it is BYO which is convenient and the service is relatively quick waited about 30 minutes for our 6 mains.It is not fancy but it is honest, home cooked food and you can leave with change from $20.
I had a fantastic time at the restaurant on a Thursday evening. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was lively. I ordered the slow-cooked brisket pasta and marinara pizza, both of which were delicious. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.
I visit this restaurant all of the time with friends and family. The food is always delicious and at reasonable prices. Even though the pizza and pastas are excellent, whenever I feel like a steak I come here, because they have the most incredible steak and mushroom sauce.

Lovely italian restaurant in Mortdale. We had lamb cutlets, carbonara and glass of Rosè. Delicious, although my husband was expecting a grilled Lamb cutlets. We'll try the Lobster and pizza next time.
My favorite local Italian restaurant. Fantastic service, homemade style food and Pigs Peake wine on the menu. You can't go wrong!
