Mamma Lombardi's Restaurant Pizza

Have eaten in the restaurant and gotten takeout from here for over 15 years but never again. My kids are home from college for a long weekend and before they head back we decided to go to Lombardi 's for a family dinner. After apps we ordered dinner. I chose from the daily specials menu the stuffed veal chop. The waiter asked Salad or pasta which that? I chose pasta. What type of pasta and what kind of sauce? I replied rigatoni and vodka. The meal came. It was fine. A little fatty and too much cheese but besides that it was good. When the check came I noticed that the veal was billed at $56. Sunday night stopover driving back from Hamptons to the city. Walked in with the dog in my arms. Tony Soprano looking dude at the bar says no to doggy, but bubbly blonde host suggested the outdoor seating area at the back which was nicely decorated but completely empty. Waitress was fantastic-she accomodated the dog perfectly. He sat propped up on the table like a dog version of Little Lord Fauntleroy. Incidebtslly LLF adored the meatballs, largely because they were out of the top drawer. The tonato basef sauce tasted like they'd been stirring it for 24 hours. The angel hair pasta with Escarole and beans was well packaged in a large metal serving tray, and tasted great, but it was very soupy with very little angel hair pasta in it. It was more of a soup than a pasta dish Do NOT ORDER the gelato!!! They charged me $11.50 for a ball of ice cream the size of a golf ball in a 1/2 lb plastic deli container! No whipped cream, or anything else, just the golf ball. Definitely not worth $11.50

Restaurant was clean and well organized . The food was delicious and hot. Manager was very attentive and ensured that everyone was happy . Wait staff were very informative, professional , nice and patient. My son was very happy with his birthday dinner. Will definitely visit again Réservez une table maintenant

This place never disappoints, whether ordering pizza to go or dining out in the restaurant and this is the first night we ordered the Nonnas's (Grandma's) Pizza, which was unfathomably delicious. Probably the best grandma pie I've ever had.

Mama Lombardi's of Holbrook is the absolute best! the baked ziti parmesan was amazing! the garlic bread parmesan was amazing! the delivery through doordash amazing! Réservez une table maintenant

On a consistent basis they get the orders incorrect. Never again. Can't tell the difference between Risotto and Peppers/Onions.
