We went on a Saturday night, just after they had opened. All tables had a reserved sign on them, but that is probably a trick to stop the German guests just sitting themselves down at a table. The menu is extensive, which should have been...a warning. The scallopine are all pork, not veal. We ordered a pizza with tuna, egg, peppers as well as the standard cheese and tomato, plus a lasagne. The latter looked and tasted OK, but the pizza used peppers from a jar (as mentioned by the previous German reviewers), and the egg was hardboiled and sliced on top, not a fresh one that gets cooked with the pizza. I have to agree with a number of my fellow reviewers, this place is ok, fresh pizza dough, not so fresh toppings. Reasonable prices. Manically busy at times, a little cramped, and rather unsettlingly abrupt waiters (found myself apologizing for ordering my pizza under the...impatient stare of one gentleman). I can imagine that if you are a regular and know how to time it just right and catch the waiters/owners when they are in a good mood, it's a pretty decent place. But if you are just stopping for a bite to eat and to relax after work, don't do that here.
we are often in this restaurant. Italian food is very good. especially pizza is delicious. for several years we are never disappointed and how to quickly service and eat good in mamma mia. the service staff is very friendly. often a reservation is required...because this restaurant is well visited.
