Growing up my family and I had a local restaurant we used to always go to in Azuza. My grandparents come from Nicaragua but they came with just themselves and their kids, with that being said, ITS HARD AS HELL TO FIND ANY NICARAGUAN RESTAURANTS AROUND HERE !!! The nacatamales were horrible. Dry flavorless masa, very very little meat, and hardly anything else in them. $10 each makes them the most expansive nacatamales I’ve had. I didn’t even finish eating one and didn’t even touch the second one. We don’t have many Nicaraguan restaurants here so I hope they improve. It’s a shame.
Authentic, home-style Nicaraguan cuisine! Every meal is delicious and paired with friendly, genuine service. You can even purchase authentic treats from Nicaragua! It’s a wonderful family-friendly atmosphere. Food: 5/5
The food was amazing, and the service was great! It was a bit busy, but you can expect that with such delicious offerings. I would definitely go back again.

I ordered a catamal for $6.75, but when I arrived, they informed me that it actually cost $10. To make matters worse, the one I received was undercooked.
